Our Story

The Road to a Better You

Debbie is actively involved in the South Croydon beauty scene and loves helping locals look and feel their best.
She goes above and beyond the typical beauty services to ensure that all of her clients are satisfied with what she has to offer.

Originally a professional microblading artist, Debbie was inspired to focus more on the wellness aspect of the beauty industry and has developed her practice towards the health boosting benefits of vitamin injections and IV drip therapy.

Focussing on her clients expressing a need for a fresh start, she invested in a tattoo removal machine which also gives the fabulously rejuvenating Carbon Facial.

Debbie prides herself on her independent trader status and the time she is able to spend with her clients. This is what has made her so popular with earlobe piercings for all ages but especially fist timers and children.

What is Microblading?

Microblading, also known as Eyebrow Embroidery, is a non-invasive, semi-permanent cosmetic procedure designed to give an incredibly natural and realistic look.

It is a good solution for those with sparse or over-plucked eyebrows who simply want to add more definition and volume to their brows. Microblading can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrow. It can cover up scars caused by burns, and is a viable option for people with hair loss due to alopecia, cancer treatments, or other diseases.

How is it done?

Microblading artists use fine needles and natural pigments to make a series of very fine and light scratches on your skin. The delicate approach and natural pigments create a natural looking, realistic eyebrow.

The treatment is performed in two parts: The first to create the brow and the second, 4 - 6 weeks later, to top up any gaps that may have occurred during the healing process.

Microblading and Cancer

Many people choose to have Microblading in advance of chemotherapy (at least 6 weeks) so that their appearance doesn’t change as drastically during this period. Others turn to Microblading once their chemotherapy has finished (at least 6 months after treatment) if their brows do not fully return. Your Doctor’s guidance is recommended.

Is it painful?

The pain level for the procedure is considered 'mild to none'.

A topical anaesthetic can be applied 45 minutes before the procedure. The anaesthetic cream can be purchased from our shop.

Everyone responds differently to anaesthetics and the procedure but the feeling of the procedure has been described from 'light cat scratches' to not feeling anything.

How long does it last?

Microblading typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on skin type, age and skincare routine. To maintain fresh looking brows, a touch up is suggested every 12-18 months.

Microshading

Beautiful Living

Microshading is a semi-permanent makeup technique that creates a dramatic, fuller, darker, and more defined eyebrows.

Similar to microblading - it creates a softer more diffuse style like the one achieved with a brow powder rather than a more structured look.

Brow lamination

The bold, defined brows of your dreams with this semi-permanent solution.

Create the ‘brushed up’ brow look with thick, bushy brows no matter how fine or straight your natural brow may be. This innovative and popular treatment enhances the shape of your brow and can lift or create symmetry in problem areas. This treatment is similar to the lash lift and many clients opt to have both done at the same time for a semi-permanent enhancement.

What can I expect from a Brow Lamination?

Step 1

After cleansing the brows, the brows are placed in an upward position to ensure all Brow Lamination solutions target the brow from the root to the tip. This solution holds the brows in place throughout the treatment.

Step 2

A special cream is applied to the brows. This cream creates a chemical process that breaks down the bonds in each hair, allowing them to be manipulated into a new shape. The solution is left on the brows for a predetermined time depending on the condition of the hair.

Step 3

A setting solution is applied the brows. This solution sets the hair in its new position. Solution is left on the brows for a predetermined time depending on the condition of the hair.

Step 4

Optional Tinting. Brows can be tinted to add colour to the brows and to enhance the results of the treatment.

Step 5

All traces of the products above are removed from the brows, then a specially developed brow serum with keratin is applied to the brows to hydrate and condition the hair.

Step 6

The brows are brushed into their desired position - this position is adjustable depending on the look you would like to achieve. Brows can be brushed up or brushed into a more natural shape.

How long does it take?

Approximately 30 – 45 minutes.

How long does it last?

Generally, brow lamination lasts from four to six weeks. Depending on how well you look after your brows, it can last up to eight weeks. After the four to six-week period, it’s recommended that you get your brows re-laminated in order to maintain the look.

Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal

Give yourself a fresh start.

How does tattoo removal by laser work?

Laser tattoo removal is a safe and effective way of permanently removing a tattoo. Some other methods, such as tattoo removal creams, dermabrasion and surgery, could result in scarring and infection while laser tattoo removal  is safe and effective.  Lasers remove tattoos by applying intense light to the pigment and breaking up the ink into tiny particles. After several treatments the body breaks down the pigment in the tattoo and this waste material is removed by your body’s lymphatic system, causing the tattoo to fade. The laser energy is selectively absorbed by the tattoo ink only, meaning that surrounding tissues are not affected and there is no lasting damage to the skin.

Does laser tattoo removal hurt?

Unfortunately, no method of tattoo removal is completely pain-free. It’s similar to the feeling of having a rubber band repeatedly flicked against the skin. Some people say it feels like rapid succession of sharp pinpricks, or a warm, prickly sensation. Because a lot of energy is needed for the laser to break up the ink particles under your skin, laser tattoo removal can be uncomfortable for some people.

What do I do after a session of laser tattoo removal?

Because your skin may be irritated after a treatment, we suggest using a cooling spray or aloe vera gel to calm the skin post-treatment. Stay hydrated and protect the healing skin from sun by using a high factor. Massaging the area will boost circulation and may help speed the removal. Your skin will need approximately 6 weeks to properly recover between treatments.

How long does it take to remove a tattoo with lasers?

A course of 6-10 treatments is often enough to remove the tattoo, depending on the colour and depth of the ink, as well as the location and age of the tattoo. Blue and black pigments are removed more quickly than other colours. The face, neck and back are the easiest to treat followed by the arms and legs. Hand and feet tattoos are slower to remove. A tattoo can be faded adequately and re-covered after a couple of sessions.

Prices

Tattoo removal cost varies depending on the size of the tattoo, as this determines the duration of the laser treatment. A free consultation with Debbie will give you an indication of the number of sessions required. Each session is £60 and can take up to an hour depending on the tattoo being removed.

Eyelashes

Lash lift with tint

Flutter those long, luscious lashes!

Whatis a lash lift with tint?

A lash lift with a tint is like a perm for your lashes. Individual lashes are boosted and lifted before tinting them resulting in thicker, darker, longer looking lashes. Effectively, a semi-permanent mascara that won’t run and the effect will last from 4 – 6weeks.

What can I expect from a treatment?

First, silicone pads are placed on the closed eyelids. Your lashes are then individually lifted and a serum is applied to them. The first serum isused to break down the protein in the lashes which are then moulded onto thes hield to give each lash a defined shape.

Next, a keratin-infused fixing serum is applied which restores andconditions the lashes. The tint is applied, and the silicone pads are removed.

Finally, a coat of pure keratin is applied which provides an extralayer of protein to strengthen and condition the lashes.

How long does it take?

Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour

How long does it last?

4 to 6 weeks depending on their maintenance.

How do I maintain a lash lift?

The first 48 hours after a lash lift are the most crucial to maintaining those gorgeous results.

Avoid water (and mascara), heavy exercising(or anything that would make you sweat a lot (like a sauna or steam room), or showering.

After 48 hours, brush the lashes out every morning and evening before applying a lash serum.

Carbon Facial

Get a smooth, rejuvenated, and glowing complexion with the latest technological advancements.

What is a Carbon Facial?

Freshen your complexion with a revolutionary non-invasive and painless treatment. It is over within an hour and has immediate and lasting effects. Ideal for skin resurfacing, it helps eliminate imperfections, tighten pores, and clear away impurities like blackheads and whiteheads for an instantly firmer, smoother, and brighter complexion.
Collagen and elastin production is stimulated resulting in a more youthful and luminous appearance, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and reinvigorating your freshly exfoliated skin.
Unlike traditional chemical peels, a Carbon Facial uses gentle heat instead of chemicals to achieve instant results. This means no down time and people with sensitive skin or skin conditions like eczema, usually experience less redness or irritation from this treatment than harsher chemical peels.

Is the Carbon Facial the same as the Carbon Spectra Peel and Hollywood peel?

This celebrity favourite goes by many names so it can get confusing! Don’t worry, they are exactly the same treatment.

The most popular terms you may have heard are :

  • Hollywood Peel

  • Carbon Spectra Peel

  • Carbon Laser Facial

  • Charcoal Facial

  • Black Doll

  • Soft Peel

  • Dark Crystal Facial

  • The Lunchtime Peel

What is the carbon facial most effective for?

  • Stimulating collagen and elastin production for an anti-aging boost

  • Removing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Clearing, refining and minimising large, blocked pores

  • Revitalising dull skin through deep exfoliation

  • Reducing acne and acne scars

  • Erasing or fading yellow/brown pigmentation, melasma or sun damage

  • Removing excessive oil and sebum

How it works

Step 1

A face mask, similar to a mud mask, is applied to your skin. The activated charcoal and carbon powder penetrates deeply into the pores, absorbing oil and impurities.
Step 2

The laser is passed across the surface of the skin. The energy from the laser is absorbed by the carbon elements in the face mask. This painless process destroys the carbon and eradicates debris and dirt as well reducing any pigmentation marks.
Step 3

Heat from the laser reduces acne-causing bacteria and shrinks the sebaceous glands, reducing oil production in the skin.  This exfoliation process leaves you with smoother, clearer, more luminous looking skin.
Step 4

The increased intensity of the laser stimulates collagen and elastin production to regenerate and ‘remodel’ your complexion.  Firmer, clearer and more youthful, the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and scarring is reduced.

How often should I have a Carbon Facial?

Everyone’s skin is different. The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, large pores and oily skin will be visibly improved after one or more treatments.
If you have severe acne or acne scarring, it may take several treatments before you see full results. The improvements are long lasting but won’t provide permanent results. You may need ongoing treatments to keep seeing the brightest and best version of your skin.
Carbon Facials may be repeated every two to three weeks. This period of time allows for ample collagen regeneration between treatments. For optimal results, a course of 3 – 6 treatments is usually recommended.

Treatment time

Approximately 45 mins to an hour.

Aftercare

Here are some do’s and don’ts for Carbon Facial aftercare:

  • Treat your skin gently after getting a laser carbon peel by continuing to moisturize daily. It’s normal to see some flaking or experience dryness for a few days afterwards.

  • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.

  • Use products containing collagen, collagen supplements, or follow a collagen-boosting diet if you have photoaged skin or fine lines.

  • Use sunscreen with at least SPF 30+ for several days after treatment and minimise sun exposure.

  • Don’t use any products containing retinol for at least five days after treatment.

  • Do not exfoliate or use any abrasive or invasive skin treatments for at least one week.

  • If you have oily skin, use products designed to combat acne to maintain optimum results.

  • Avoid exercise or perspiration for 3 days after the treatment (hot tubs, sauna’s etc)

  • Avoid hair removal in the area for at least 48 hours after treatment.

  • Avoid picking or scratching the treated area(s), as it can cause scarring, discoloration, and infections.

  • Avoid using makeup for at least 24 hours after a carbon laser facial treatment. Makeup can clog your pores and prevent your skin from breathing, which can slow down the healing process.

  • Refrain from using blood thinners, including but not limited to ibuprofen, alcohol, aspirin, and caffeine for at least 5 days post-treatment.

A final note

A carbon laser peel can be done anywhere on the body.

Other areas of the body may be treated depending on your individual requirements.

Vitamin D injections

A concentrated dose of sunshine!

Anyone looking to increase their vitamin D levels quickly will find that a vitamin D shot is the fastest way to do so. Vitamin D shots last between 3-6 months. You can continue to get the shots until your vitamin D levels improved.

Why do you need Vitamin D?

Immune Function: Vitamin D plays a role in the immune system and helps your body fight off bacteria and viruses.

Cell Growth: Vitamin D helps regulate the growth of cells in your body and may play a role in preventing certain types of cancer.

Neuromuscular function: Vitamin D contributes to proper neuromuscular function, and a deficiency could potentially lead to muscle weakness.

Inflammation Reduction: Vitamin D has been shown to help reduce inflammation in the body, which is beneficial in managing certain conditions like heart disease.
